Escape the Beaten Path in the Ford Bronco Available at Feeny Ford of Grayling
As one of the few mid-size SUVs with a body-on-frame design, the Ford Bronco is built for high levels of ruggedness. Every version of the Bronco is a four-wheel drive, and there are three impressive powertrains. The Bronco is also one of the most fun-looking rides on the roads, If you want to know what a rugged SUV can accomplish, then ask about the new Bronco.
Performance
Your first powertrain option pairs a 2.3-liter engine with a seven-speed manual transmission. The combo provides 300 horsepower, 325 pound-feet of torque and 3,500 pounds of maximum towing capacity. The next option is a 2.7-liter that matches up to a ten-speed automatic transmission. It peaks at 330 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. Finally, you can buy the Bronco with a 3.0-liter engine and a ten-speed automatic transmission. This design yields 418 horsepower, 440 pound-feet of torque and 4,500 pounds of towing. The 3.0 is only available with the Raptor trim.
The base ground clearance for the Bronco is 8.3 to 8.4 inches. A more off-road trim, the Wildtrak offers 11.6 inches. Folks who want the baddest rock crawler can get the Raptor with 13.1 inches of ground clearance. The new Bronco also cuts a 35.3-degree turning circle, making it highly maneuverable in right off-road settings. A one-pedal control system is even available to simplify difficult trail maneuvers.

Exterior
The circular headlamps and boxy design of the Bronco give off extreme safari vibes. The SUV's wide grille and aggressive fender flairs add to the sense that you're about to head off on an adventure. It also features stock 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels, and all-terrain tires are available, too. Buyers can purchase the Bronco as a two- or four-door SUV. Several of the Bronco's trims are available with soft- and hard-top panels that are removable for an open-air driving experience.
Interior
Based on your choice of trim, the new Ford Bronco will seat either four or five people. Its interior is surprisingly plush, and numerous material options favor different lifestyles. Vinyl upholstery is available, including a marine-grade option that's ideal for messy off-road experiences. A vinyl/cloth combo is available for the top trims, too.
The available cargo space in the Bronco varies significantly based on the trim. Some versions go as high as 38.3 cubic feet, but others go as low as 22.4 cubic feet. The rear seats fold down in all of the trims for more space, though.
Technology
An eight-inch digital instrument panel and a twelve-inch infotainment display are standard on the new Ford Bronco. The same goes for wireless connectivity to your phone through Apple Carplay and Android Auto. You can also configure your Bronco to be an on-the-go Wi-Fi hotspot for multiple devices. Ford's Sync 4 software even provides over-the-air updates to the vehicle's systems. Navigation is available, and the premium audio system is a B&O with ten speakers and a subwoofer. USB Type-A and -C charging ports are also available.
Safety
Emergency automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring, evasive steering and pre-collision safety systems are all standard on the new Bronco. Intelligent cruise control is also available. A rearview camera is standard. Drivers will also appreciate the hill-descent control system that mitigates risks from going down steep slopes.
Features
The list of optional features for the Bronco includes steel bash plates, rubberized flooring, drain plugs and a locking rear axle. You also can buy the Bronco with an intake snorkel, a winch and a slide-out tailgate.
